Government cuts per diems for official trips

The Serbian government adopted today the Decree on amendments to the Decree on compensation of costs and severance pays for civil servants and general service employees.

With this decree, per diems for official trips within the country have been reduced from RSD 2,556 to RSD 150, whereas per diems in foreign currency have been reduced from €65 to €15.
The aim of the Decree is to enable the reduction of costs and make considerable savings in the state budget.
The government also passed the Conclusion on the adoption of the text of the Memorandum on economic and fiscal policy and technical Memorandum of understanding as part of which a positive, revised position and measures of economic policy agreed with the International Monetary Fund for the period from 2015-2017 were adopted.
