Also, the same measure of the Croatian government applies to vehicles with Serbian licence plates at border crossings between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Croatia.
The official website of the Serbian government brings the text of the note in its entirety:
"Such and similar measures by the police authorities of the Republic of Croatia, and in particular the physical separation of the holders of passports of the Republic of Serbia from other passengers have not been recorded in the civilised world. By their discriminatory character they can only be compared with the measures taken in the past during the fascist Independent State of Croatia.
By doing this, Croatia grossly violates the fundamental principles of the European Union, United Nations, Council of Europe and other international organisations of which it is a member.
The government of the Republic of Serbia demands that the relevant authorities of the Republic of Croatia stop with this practice immediately," according to the protest note of the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
