State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs Nenad Ivanisevic talked this evening with representatives of the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and the Subcommittee on Human and Minority Rights (DROI) of the European Parliament.
Talking about the current situation with migrants, the senior officials of the European Parliament congratulated Serbia on the efforts made and humanity shown in solving the problem of migrants and their care during their stay in the territory of Serbia.
Members of the European Parliament Delegation underlined that additional help of Brussels to Serbia is expected, as well as finding a common solution of the European Union to the migrant issue, by which all countries of Europe will act.
Also, further support to Serbia regarding the opening of negotiating chapters on accession to the EU is also expected, according to a statement by the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs.
