Blockade of border crossings harms entire region

Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic said that the Interior Ministry absolutely rejects the accusations and malicious allegations that our country deliberately diverts refugees to Croatia.
In a written statement to the media, Stefanovic said that our country does not interfere in any way with the movement of refugees, nor does it limit their freedom of movement.
He stressed that it is clear to everyone that it is impossible to influence which routes migrants will take, because people fleeing war in their countries want to reach Western Europe in every way.
The Minister called on Croatian authorities to facilitate the smooth flow of goods and passenger traffic at the most important transit route, given that the blockade of the border crossings causes great harm to the economy of the entire region and of Europe too.
