Minimum earning remains RSD 121

The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Affairs stated that the government of the Republic of Serbia at its meeting today decided that the amount of the minimum earning without taxes and contributions for compulsory social insurance for the period January to December 2016 remains RSD 121 net per working hour.
The statement said that the decision was made in accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Law, which stipulates that if the Social and Economic Council fails to render a decision within 15 days from the day of commencement of bargaining, the decision on the amount of minimum earnings shall be made by the government of the Republic of Serbia by 15 September for the next calendar year.
