The Bill on changes and amendments to the Law on judges, the Bill on changes and amendments to the Law on the public prosecution and the Bill on changes to the Law on the high judicial council were also adopted at the session.
The government also adopted the Bill on changes to the Law on organisation of competences of state bodies in the fight against organised crime and the Bill on changes to the Law on organisation and competences of state bodies in the war crimes proceedings.
A Decision was made at the session to approve the import of 25,000 tonnes of D-2 diesel fuel and 8,000 tonnes of Euro diesel in order to prevent disturbances on the oil derivates market.
The government adopted an Information for concluding the agreement between the Serbia-Montenegrin Council of Ministers and the Slovakian government on economic cooperation and the report on the realisation of the funding programme for public non-financial enterprises and organisations, as well as donations and transfers to compulsory social insurance organisations for 2004.
The National Employment Strategy for the period between 2005 and 2010 was also adopted.
The Serbian government decided at today’s session to offer guarantees to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for Vujadin Popovic to be released pending trial.
