Bill on amendments to education law adopted

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Bill on amendments to the Law on the Bases of the Education System.
It is proposed to delete the provision which provides that the employment of teachers, educators or associates will be terminated at the end of a school year in which they reach either 40 years of service or 65 years of age, and at least 15 years of service.
It is expected that these changes to the law will improve the efficiency of the pre-school, primary and secondary education.
