Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic met today in Luxembourg with interior ministers of Belgium, Spain and Macedonia before the meeting of European ministers of interior and justice that will focus on the problem of irregular migrants, as well as on the fight against terrorism.
In a meeting with Minister of the Interior of the Kingdom of Belgium Jan Jambon, Stefanovic pointed out to the necessary intensive exchange of information that would warn of terrorist threats and prevent endangering the safety of citizens of both states.
They also discussed the fight against organised crime and terrorism, and agreed that police cooperation is good.
They agreed to further strengthen this cooperation by signing an agreement on police cooperation between Serbia and Belgium.

Stefanovic also met with Minister of the Interior of the Kingdom of Spain Jorge Fernandes Diaz, to discuss the problems of irregular migration and the mechanisms for finding a stable and sustainable solution to this problem.
During the meeting they also discussed the fight against organised crime and drug trafficking, with a special focus on the recent joint action in which several tonnes of cocaine were seized.
They also agreed to continue close cooperation in other fields.
