State to cover tuition fees for 17,273 freshmen this year

The Serbian government passed a decision at its session today that the state will cover the tuition fees for 17,273 students who enrol in the first year of university studies in the academic year 2015/2016.
The tuition fees of 5,935 students who enrol in the first year of post-secondary studies will be paid from the state budget.
Also, the state will pay the tuition fees for 5,680 students who will enrol in the first year of master’s studies at the state-owned universities, and for 775 students who enrol in the first year of doctoral studies in 2015/2016.
