The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Decision on determining the subjects of privatisation of strategic importance, which included 17 companies of strategic importance for Serbia, whose privatisation will be postponed by one year.
The above-mentioned enterprises employ about 22,000 workers and there is a real chance for their revitalisation.
The government also adopted the Proposal of the Strategy of Energy Development in Serbia to 2025, laying down long-term objectives for the development of production capacities in order to ensure a secure supply, technological standards and the protection of the environment.
The strategy also defines the directions of development of transmission, transportation and distribution systems, as well as of the markets of electricity and natural gas.
In addition, the strategy stipulates the sources and ways of providing energy and fuel, as well as ways to use energy from renewable sources and the improvement of renewable energy sources.
The Bill on ratification of the Agreement between the governments of Serbia and Russia on military technical cooperation was also adopted.
