Cooperation of Interior Ministry, ICTY exceptionally good

Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic spoke today with Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) Serge Brammertz, who praised the work of the Ministry’s War Crimes Department.

Stefanovic and Brammertz assessed that the cooperation of the Ministry of the Interior and the ICTY is exceptionally good.
Stefanovic presented Brammertz the activities that the Ministry undertakes to fulfill the obligations set out in Chapter 24 and added that the Ministry will continue work with the residual mechanism, which is the legal successor of the ICTY.
The ICTY Chief Prosecutor supported Serbia on its path of European integration, according to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior.
