Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic met today with Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelhamid Chebchoub on improving police cooperation between the two countries, especially in the fight against terrorism, organised crime, drug trafficking and human smuggling.

Stefanovic and Chebchoub agreed that the terrorist threats are a global problem and to successfully fight against this evil joint operational cooperation of all countries is necessary.
Condemning the terrorist attack in Macedonia, Chebchoub and Stefanovic pointed out that the cooperation between police of the two countries in the fight against terrorism will be further improved.
According to Stefanovic, the interir ministries of the two countries in the coming period will work on the harmonisation of the international agreement, which will be aimed at improving general of police cooperation.
Stefanovic also presented the Ambassador of Algeria on the reforms implemented by the Ministry of Interior.
