Government passes several bills

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Bill on memorials, whose implementation is expected to provide for a more efficient involvement of the public administration in the protection, restoration and construction of new memorials.
The government adopted the Bill on ratification of the Convention on a common transit procedure and the Bill on ratification of the Convention on the simplification of formalities in trade of goods.
Both conventions improve the international transit procedure and stipulate as mandatory the application of new information technologies in customs territories of the Member States of the EU, EFTA and Turkey.
The government also passed the Bill on ratification of the Convention on jurisdiction, applicable law, recognition and enforcement of decisions and cooperation in matters of parental responsibility and measures for the protection of children.
