Direct flights to US soon

The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure announced that the government of Serbia adopted the present text of the Agreement on Air Transport between the governments of Serbia and the United States on direct flights between the two countries.
The signing of the agreement is expected soon in Belgrade. On behalf of the government of Serbia, the document will be signed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Zorana Mihajlovic.
This agreement will govern the conditions for the conduct of air traffic between the two countries.
After nearly 16 years, this will be the first line in the region of the former Yugoslavia to have direct overseas flights.
