Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica received today Anatoly Sofonov, the special representative of the Russian president for international cooperation and transnational organised crime.
Kostunica pointed to the importance of international cooperation in tackling the connection between crime and terrorism, as it represents a significant threat in the modern world. In that sense, institutions in Serbia and Russia will continue to work together to address this threat.
The Serbian Prime Minister pointed to the many dimensions of the problem in Kosovo-Metohija and the danger to regional stability that changing the borders in the Balkans would cause.
The meeting was also attended by Russian Ambassador to Belgrade Aleksandr Alekseev.
