Following the statement of Serbia-Montenegrin Foreign Minister Vuk Draskovic to the Financial Times that former commander of the Republika Srpska Army Ratko Mladic was hiding with the support of the Serbian security service, the Director of the Security and Intelligence Agency Rade Bulatovic denied these claims and characterised them as unfounded.
“These are accusations that are unfounded, and have no basis in fact. The facts prove differently”, Bulatovic said and assessed that such claims are detrimental and discouraging and deter Hague indictees from surrendering voluntarily.
