Government sends aid to municipalities affected by floods, landslides

The Serbian government, at the proposal of Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, sent a request to the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament that the Bill on determining public interest and special expropriation procedures and issuance of the construction permit for the project "Belgrade Waterfront" not be examined under emergency procedure.
At today's session, it was decided that this bill should be included on the agenda of the Parliament in two weeks.
The government instructed the Directorate for Commodity Reserves to deliver 75 tons of euro diesel and 1,000 litres of euro premium to the municipalities of Bosilegrad, Tutin, Ivanjica, Sjenica, Lebane, Medvedja, Kursumlija and Brus, for the purpose of eliminating the consequences of heavy rainfall.
The government instructed the Office for assistance and rehabilitation of flooded areas to coordinate efforts on the provision of assistance to citizens whose housing units were destroyed or damaged in the floods and landslides in January this year in Vranje, Vladicin Han, Bosilegrad, Leskovac, Bujanovac and Presevo.
