RSD 24.5 bn for incentives to agriculture

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Decree on the allocation of subsidies to agriculture and rural development in 2015.
RSD 24.5 billion has been set aside for direct incentives to agriculture, rural development measures, credit support and special incentives in agriculture, which are expected to increase production and overall economic growth.
These incentives will enable the development of this industry, which directly and indirectly employs almost a quarter of the employed population in Serbia.
The government adopted the Programme of distribution and use of subsidies and grants for tourism development projects in Serbia this year.
RSD 587 million will be set aside in the budget for the promotion of tourism in Serbia in 2015.
