A total of 241 vehicles of higher and middle class that are less than seven years old will be put to sale, as well as 360 vehicles of middle class that are more than seven years old and 982 vehicles of middle and lower class that are more than seven years old.
The government calculates that a significant saving in the budget will be made through a full rationalisation of the use of official state cars, and through the reduction of costs of fleet maintenance.
This decision has been made for the purpose of implementing austerity measures and the government’s policy on responsible management of publicly owned goods.
The government called on all public companies in Serbia to apply these measures and to immediately submit the lists of official state cars to the Secretariat-General of the Serbian government.
