Further reforms important prerequisite for state's advancement in all fields

Minister without portfolio responsible for EU integration Jadranka Joksimovic met with President of the Italian Society for International Organisation Franco Frattini to discuss Serbia's EU integration process.
Joksimovic thanked for the support that Italy has been offering to Serbia even after the end of its EU presidency.
She said that Italy has so far confirmed several times that it is Serbia's reliable partner along the EU path.
The fact that the first chapters are yet to be opened does not diminish the results and progress that Serbia has achieved in the EU integration and reform processes, the minister's office said in a release.
Frattini agreed that the further reform process is an important prerequisite for the state's advancement in all fields, and noted that Serbia has capacities to change things for the better in the interest of its citizens.
Frattini voiced expectation that the initial chapters in Serbia's EU integration process will be opened as soon as possible.
