At the conference "Fight against organised crime – international cooperation in criminal justice", held in Rome, Stefanovic stressed that participation in this conference is useful for our citizens, because we can use funds from the IPA project to finance specific training and to strengthen the security of our borders.
The Minister said that crime today knows no boundaries, and that drug trafficking takes place throughout the Balkans.
Although this is a big problem for Serbia, we will prove to be an equal partner to the European countries, he stressed.
The conference was attended by representatives of seven ministries of the interior of the Western Balkans, as well as of Italy and France, according to a statement by the Ministry of the Interior.
