The government of the Republic of Serbia discussed at today's meeting the possibilities for savings in the central budget for next year, and noted that all ministries should ensure stable operation of the system by savings in the budget as well as the foundation for the economic development of the country.

Daehaeng Kim, who attended today's government meeting, said that the IMF supports the commitment of the government of Serbia to reforms, as well as its efforts to ensure fiscal consolidation and build foundations for stabilising the economy.
The Serbian government adopted the Bill amending the Law on Planning and Construction, whose application will be enhanced legal certainty and transparency, and will introduce a simplified and more efficient procedures in this area.
