Udovicic to attend conference of ministers of sports of CoE countries

Minister of Youth and Sports Vanja Udovicic will participate tomorrow in a conference of ministers of sports of the countries of the Council of Europe (CoE) to be held in Magglingen, Switzerland, at which a convention against match-fixing will be signed.
Along the ministers of sports, the conference will be attended by officials of important international institutions including European Commissioner for Education, Culture and Youth Androulla Vassiliou, Secretary-General of the Council of Europe Thorbjorn Jagland, Vice President of the International Olympic Committee and President of the World Anti-Doping Agency Craig Reedie and Director General for Democracy of the Council of Europe Snezana Samardzic-Markovic.
The preparation of the convention against match-fixing was initiated at the previous conference of ministers of sports of the member states of the Council of Europe held in Belgrade in 2012, reads a statement by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
