Joksimovic stressed that this is a realistic goal based on the implementation of contractual obligations arising from the Stabilisation and Association Agreement, as well as on a comprehensive reform process which the government pursues.
She thanked EU member states for their continued support to Serbia in the form of technical and financial assistance, recalling that the EU is the biggest donor of development aid in Serbia.
According to her, one of the best examples of solidarity is a comprehensive assistance and support from the Union in the rehabilitation of flooded areas in our country.
Joksimovic pointed out that the EU enlargement is in mutual interest, and that that is a policy in which everyone wins.
Italian Ambassador to Serbia Giuseppe Manzo said at the meeting that Serbia has a developed comprehensive system of economic, political, cultural and social relations with the EU and the Member States, reads the statement by the Office of the Minister without Portfolio responsible for European integration.
