Government adopts national repair programmes

The Serbian government adopted at today's session the National programme of repair of damaged water facilities for watercourse management, water facilities for the protection from floods, erosion and torrents, and drainage facilities.
This document stipulates that the public water management companies of Serbia, Vojvodina and Belgrade “Srbijavode”, “Vode Vojvodine” and “Beogradvode” respectively promptly repair damage and eliminate the risk of flooding.
The government will secure RSD 3.1 billion for the realisation of this programme that will ensure protection in the areas affected by floods.
The National programme for the repair of transport network was also adopted, which envisages the removal of consequences on the road and railway infrastructure in Serbia caused by floods and landslides.
