Coordinating body for implementation of Anti-Corruption Strategy formed

The Serbian government at its session today adopted the decision to establish the Coordinating Body for the implementation of the National Strategy for the Fight against Corruption by 2018.
The Coordinating Body will be headed by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, and the members will include the Minister of Justice, Minister of Finance and a representative of the Anti-Corruption Council.
The government also adopted the Bill amending the Law on the High Judicial Council and the Bill amending the Law on the State Prosecutorial Council.
The proposed amendments will improve accountability and transparency in work, improve electoral process and provide significant savings.
