Office for combating drugs to be set up

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Decree on the establishment of the Office for combating drugs which will coordinate the work of state bodies, prepare regulations, national strategy and actions plans in the fight against drugs.

The office will coordinate cooperation of Serbia with the bodies of the EU and UN in the fight against drugs, and take part in the adoption of related programmes and measures, treatment of drug addiction and care for drug addicts.
The government also adopted the Bill on amendments to the Law on health care and the Bill on amendments to the Law on health insurance.
The Bill on export and import of weapons and military equipment was also adopted.
