State Secretary at the Ministry of the Interior Aleksandar Nikolic met today with a delegation of the Italian Ministry of the Interior, which will stay in Belgrade from 16 to 19 June.
Nikolic said that this is a good opportunity for representatives of the ministries of the two countries to exchange experiences in the field of security, education, and combating organised crime as the most security challenges of modern society.
He pointed out that the Ministry of the Interior is a reliable partner in the fight against all forms of crime.
The meeting was also attended by advisor to the Minister of Interior and head of the Cabinet Ivan Ristic and advisor to the Police Director Marina Tomasevic, as well as experts on international cooperation.
The Italian delegation is headed by the director of the school for higher education and training of police staff General Ricardo Amato.
