The Serbian government decided at its session today that Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic coordinate all activities on the clean-up of consequences of the floods and providing aid to citizens in Obrenovac.
At the session it was concluded that Gasic, on behalf of the Serbian government, will lead activities on securing living conditions in Obrenovac, providing aid to citizens and organisations that suffered damage and on removing consequences of the floods.
The government instructed the Serbian Directorate for Commodity Reserves to give a grant-in-aid in the form of one million litres of oil derivatives for the clean-up of consequences of catastrophic floods in the territory of affected municipalities and cities.
The distribution of oil derivatives will be coordinated by the Department for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of the Interior.
