Boosting cooperation with Italy in field of judiciary

Minister of Justice Nikola Selakovic spoke today with Italian Ambassador to Serbia Giuseppe Manzo about enhancing cooperation between the two countries in the field of justice and the fight against corruption and organised crime.

During the meeting, Selakovic and Manzo assessed that the cooperation between Serbia and Italy is very good, but that it needs to be further strengthened in the future, especially during the Italian presidency of the European Council.
During this period, Serbia will have an opportunity to achieve much more in the preparation for the opening of negotiations on chapters 23 and 24.
Manzo underlined that the Ministry of Justice has a significant role in the process of European integration, especially taking into account the importance of Chapter 23, reads a statement by the Ministry of Justice.
