The Serbian government examined at its session today the Information on the condition of road infrastructure in the areas hit by floods and landslides, and concluded that the road and railway infrastructure has been damaged significantly and that preparation of plans for their reconstruction should be speeded up.
The directors of public road and railway companies Putevi Srbije, Koridori Srbije, Zeleznice Srbije and water supply companies Srbijavode and Beogradvode, who attended the government session and submitted reports on the condition of infrastructure, were instructed to mobilise all capacities, make preparations and start within seven days with the reconstruction of the damaged roads and bridges.
Marko Blagojevic was appointed Director of the Office for reconstruction and assistance to the flooded areas.
The government passed a decision that the disinfection from air in flooded areas be carried out in cooperation with Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
