Slovakia continues to provide aid to Serbia

Minister of Justice Nikola Selakovic spoke today with Slovak Ambassador to Serbia Jan Varso about cooperation of Serbia and Slovakia in the field of judiciary and its improvement.

Selakovic thanked the Slovak Ambassador for his visit and underlined that Serbia and Slovakia have always been friendly countries and that their judicial systems have many similarities.
He pointed out that Slovakia offers great support to the Serbian judiciary in the field of international law and the protection of territorial integrity and said that judiciary cooperation between Serbian and Slovak needs to be further strengthened.
The Slovak Ambassador extended his sincere condolences to the citizens of Serbia over the tragedy caused by severe flooding and said that Slovakia will continue to provide assistance to Serbia, which is necessary so that both citizens and the country could go back to normal.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Justice voiced hope that he will soon have the opportunity to meet with his Slovak counterpart Tomas Borec, reads a statement by the Ministry of Justice.
