The Serbian government adopted the Bill on amendments to the Law on travel documents, by which this law is becoming harmonised with EU regulations.
The bill provides for the abolition of the so-called exit visa, the shipping and maritime documents carrying a visa cease to exist as a travel document and the former holders of these documents will travel with ordinary passports.
A part of the bill which is also harmonised with EU regulations specifies that when applying for a passport, children below 12 years of age do not have to be taken fingerprints or give a signature.
The government appointed Milosav Milickovic and Aleksandar Nikolic as state secretaries in the Ministry of the Interior and Dejan Ristic and Sasa Mirkovic as state secretaries in the Ministry of Culture and the Media.
Marko Djuric was appointed director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija.
