The Serbian government has taken all measures available to protect endangered population in flooded areas.

During the night, the situation in Sabac and the surrounding areas has been brought under control. The government is grateful to all citizens who show a high degree of solidarity and humaneness by taking part in the protection from floods.
At this moment there are enough people in all affected areas involved in setting up defensive walls. The government will be informing citizens about the situation in flooded areas and the need for volunteers.
