Bilateral military cooperation plan between Serbia, Italy signed

The Serbian Ministry of Defence stated that the Plan of bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and Italy for 2014 was signed today, which enables continuation of cooperation in the field of education and advanced training, military cooperation, intelligence and reconnaissance operations and military medical cooperation.
During the meeting, which was held at the Ministry of Defence, it was noted that defence cooperation between Serbia and Italy is well-developed and that there is room for its quantitative and qualitative improvement.
Cooperation between the two countries is characterised by high-level meetings, bilateral military security consultation and numerous activities.
It was noted that the official visit of Minister of Defence Nebojsa Rodic to Italy was completed successfully, and that the talks with Italian Minister of Defence Roberta Pinotti and Chief of the Defence Staff Luigi Binelli Mantelli confirm the commitment to significantly improve overall relations between the two countries through promoting defence cooperation.
