This chapter deals with the free movement of workers, or the area that belongs to the part of rights on which the EU is based.
The delegation of Serbia will be led by State Secretary of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy and Chairman of the negotiating group for Chapter 2 Zoran Martinovic and Deputy Director of the European Integration Office
Srdjan Majstorovic.
The delegation will also include representatives of the European Integration Office, the Serbian negotiating team for accession talks with the EU, Ministry of Health, the state Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance, state Health Insurance Fund, National Employment Service, state Social Insurance Institute and the Mission of the Republic of Serbia to Brussels.
The EU will be represented by experts from the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and the Directorate-General for Enlargement.
During the screening, the situation regarding harmonisation of the Serbian legislation with that of the EU in the following areas will be looked at: access to the labour market, EURES system (the possibility to work in the EU) and coordination of the systems of social care and the European health card, it is added in the statement.
