Serbian Tourist Organisation wins seventh place in Berlin

The Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services has announced that the Serbian Tourist Organisation (TOS) took seventh place at the International Tourist Fair in Berlin, ITB 2005, which was held from March 11 and 15. In the category of tourist film, the Tourist Organization of Belgrade (TOB) took third place in the competition of 45 movies.
The ITB is one of the largest tourist exhibitions in the world with over 10,000 exhibitors from 181 countries. Apart from the tourist offer of Serbia and Belgrade, the Serbian offer also featured tourist information on Novi Sad, spas across Serbia and travel agencies from Serbia.
During their stay in Berlin, the Serbian delegation, headed by Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Bojan Dimitrijevic, had a series of meetings with representatives of the German Ministry of Economy and Labour, Serbia-Montenegrin-German business council, German Chamber of Commerce and Metro Board of Directors.
The presentation entitled “The Danube – the Course of European Unity,” created in cooperation with the German Organisation for Technical Cooperation attracted great attention of the media.
