The Serbian government approved a RSD 300 million loan through the Development Fund for construction of the factory and purchase of necessary equipment, and another RSD 1 million should be set aside for next year, Ciric said.
Dulic said that this is the first modern investment in processing of biomass and is part of the implementation of "green economy" project in which 8,000 people have been employed since the beginning of the mandate of this government, while 10,000 should be employed by the end of its mandate.
With this factory, which will have to cover the processing of animal waste in Serbia, one of the conditions of the EU will be fulfilled so that Serbia could become an exporter of food, Dulic underlined.

According to him, the factory will start working in September 2012 and it will process 150,000 tons of animal waste per year.
The construction of the factory will be carried out by Belgian-Serbian company "Energozelena" which will employ around 100 workers. “Energozelena” will invest €21 million in this factory.
The constriction of the factory in Indjija is realised as part of the Serbian government’s project “Let’s Clean Serbia” that deals with the problem of waste.
