Dacic said at the formal academy held on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Institute for Criminology and Sociology Research that this institution can help the police in strategic analysis of criminal and social phenomena.
He stressed that traditional means are not sufficient to combat organised crime, which is why a deeper analytical insight into all aspects of these criminal acts and their perpetrators is needed.
A monograph dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Institute was presented and Institute’s Director Leposava Kron delivered letters of gratitude to the Deputy Prime Minister, professors and associates.
