Dacic opens three-day seminar "PR Day"

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic opened today at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade a three-day seminar "PR Day” dealing with public relations and the political life in Serbia.
Dacic pointed to the importance of PR services in the life of political parties, but also to possible negative consequences of this professional form of communication with the public.
He spoke to participants in the seminar about some of the rules of political PR, the relationship between politicians and journalists, as well as side effects of public relations, such as the spinning of information, i.e. the diverting of attention from existing problems. The seminar, organised by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Belgrade, will last until 20 May.
