Deputy Serbian Prime Minister and Minister of the Ivica Dacic said today that Serbia is not threatened by terrorist activities after the assassination of al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden, but noted that the level of security has been increased for preventive reasons.
Dacic said after
meeting with ambassadors of EU countries, United States, Russia and China stated that, according to estimates, Serbia is not threatened by terrorism.
He once again commended the successful completion of US action against the Al Qaeda leader, given that international terrorism is evil and that acts of terrorism in the past caused members of the Serbian people to suffer too.
Serbia will continue to be part of international action in the fight against terrorism, said the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister.
