Dacic, who is visiting Greece, stressed that thanks to the agreement, signed between Serbia and Greece in 2008, cooperation in this area has resulted in a series of concrete police operations.
During the meeting they discussed future cooperation in coordinating activities in emergency situations, police cooperation in maintaining public law and order, and public peace when it comes to Serbian tourists in Greece and joint sports events.
Dacic and Papoutsis discussed the signing of an agreement on mutual recognition of driving licences and a readmission agreement, as well as the appointment of a police attaché at the Serbian embassy in Athens.
Papoutsis underlined that the Greek government strongly endorses Serbia in its efforts to meet the requirements for EU candidacy.
Today in Athens Dacic will also meet with Minister of Foreign Affairs Dimitris Droutsas.
