Dacic presents employment contract to first Uganda-born Interior Ministry member

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic presented the employment contract to the first female member of the Ministry of the Interior from Uganda Rose Abot Mirembe Josia Bugarcic.

He said that the Ministry is open to all Serbian nationals regardless of their origin.
Dacic said that Bugarcic has Serbian citizenship and has so far been working in the Ministry of Agriculture, and as of today will be engaged in the sector of finance, human resources and joint activities of the Department in charge of projects financed from EU funds for the Serbian Interior Ministry.
The Deputy Serbian Prime Minister pointed to the hospitality and openness of the Serbian people to foreigners.
He also wished Bugarcic success in her new job.
Bugarcic said that she has been living in Serbia for 15 years with her husband. They have three children Nikola, Marija and Aleksandar.
She expressed the hope that she will meet all expectations in her new job and will contribute to the process of European integration of Serbia.
