Systematic approach to health protection of police officers

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic supported last night in Vrnjacka Banja a resolution adopted by police union representatives from the region in Vrnjacka Banja.
Dacic said that the traumas experienced by police officers while doing their job often cause unpredictable consequences.
The Deputy Prime Minister supported the idea of systematic approach to solving problems of health protection and occupational diseases of police officers.
The police officers perform strenuous, demanding and stressful job and therefore it is very important for them to undergo regular health checks.
The seminar was organised by the Independent Police Union and was attended by representatives of police unions from Slovenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania.
The meeting was also attended by Secretary General of the European Council of Police Unions Gerard Greneron.
