Serbia plays key role in combating organised crime in region

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic met today with Europol Assistant Director Laszlo Salgo and discussed cooperation between the Serbian Ministry of the Interior and Europol.
Dacic underscored that the Ministry is striving to achieve a higher level of operational cooperation and complete the roadmap to the EU, after which it can sign an agreement with Europol.
He voiced his gratitude to Europol Director Rob Wainwright for honouring the Ministry of the Interior by attending the celebration of its 200th anniversary.
Salgo stressed that Serbia plays a key role in the region when it comes to combating organised crime.
