In a business luncheon organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia (AmCham) Dacic announced a public debate on the draft law on private security and detective work and expressed the hope that these documents will soon be sent to the regular procedure.

Serbia has in the past two years achieved some results, although they still cannot be accurately presented because there is no clear statistics.
Stating an example of fight against piracy, he said that the people who uploaded the domestic film "Montevideo, God Bless You" on the Internet have been arrested.
Dacic confirmed that Serbia would fulfill all of its obligations in this area, undertaken within the stabilisation and association process, and expressed satisfaction that Serbia is not on the US list of countries where the situation regarding the respect for intellectual property is worrying.
Serbia has not seen organised violation of intellectual property rights, because our country is a small market, however it is interesting as a transit route, he said.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the penalty policy for people who violate intellectual property rights is inadequate because the violators are usually sentenced to probation.
