Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic and Serbia-Montenegrin President Svetozar Marovic met at the Serbian government building today, pledging readiness to continue cooperation through regular working contacts between the two governments and their respective ministries.

The three top officials stressed that Serbia and Montenegro have common goals and problems, adding that cooperation in the resolution of the two state union members' problems will have a positive effect on the functioning of Serbia-Montenegro.
Participants in the meeting said that both sides are ready to observe all provisions of the Constitutional Charter and the Belgrade Accord, and establish all institutions stipulated in the Charter.
They also pointed to the importance of intensifying legislative activity of the Serbia-Montenegrin parliament. In order to speed up the procedures for the state union's integration into European institutions, the three officials also agreed that the European Integration Council must hold a session shortly.
