Bradic said that cultural cooperation between Serbia and Poland has been going on for decades.
During the meeting we discussed cooperation in the field of cultural creativity, translation, cinema, cultural heritage, as well as exchange of young artists and cooperation between institutions, outlined Bradic.
Poland is the next EU chair, specified Bradic and expressed the hope that, with the support of Poland, Serbia's path towards the EU will be accelerated.
Zdrojewski pointed out that it is very important that this agreement will not entail only cooperation among ministries, but also between cultural institutions.
The Polish Minister announced a photo exhibition of Polish artists at Kalemegdan Park next year.
He also stated that an agreement to translate the works of Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andric into Polish was reached.
The meeting also discussed cultural tourism, for Poles travelling to the Adriatic stopping by in Belgrade.
Zdrojewski noted that Poland is already working on creating favourable conditions for Serbia within the EU for its cultural programmes.
Bradic and Zdrojevski unveiled the bust of Frederick Chopin in Belgrade’s Manjez Park, to mark the anniversary of two centuries of his birth.
The Serbian Minister of Culture on this occasion recalled the deep friendship between Polish and Serbian people, which is evidenced by various streets named after famous Poles in Belgrade and throughout Serbia.
The two ministers visited the Yugoslav Film Archives as well as the legacy buildings of Milica Zoric and Rodoljub Colakovic.
