Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković, who is in Moscow on the occasion of the presentation of the International Film Academy and the Open Eurasian Film Award, met today with Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Olga Lyubimova.
Selaković emphasised that the establishment of the academy and the award is a significant initiative that represents a new international platform for cooperation in the field of cinematography and encouragement of talented filmmakers.
He expressed readiness to fully participate in this format of exceptional cultural importance.
The officials also welcomed the work on the implementation of joint projects, such as the cooperation between the State Hermitage Museum and the National Museum of Serbia in organising the “Hermitage Days in Serbia” and preparing the exhibition “Peter the Great and the Balkans”.
The two officials particularly emphasised the importance of encouraging cooperation in the field of literary translation and publishing, as well as in the field of artistic dance, with the aim of improving ballet teaching in Serbia.
