He told Tanjug news agency that the two-day meeting will contribute to the improvement of cooperation in order to identify suitable projects in the area of cultural heritage.
The Minister outlined that the Skopje Agenda, which will be adopted at this conference, is a continuation of the Ljubljana Process from last year in a move to improve and upgrade the existing activities.
This document will also serve as a tool for the practical implementation of the Framework Convention of the Council of Europe on cultural heritage, which Serbia ratified on 5 May.
He affirmed that the conference, organised by the Macedonian Ministry of Culture, is being held in a very constructive atmosphere, in the presence of representatives of the Council of Europe, the EU and countries belonging to the Black Sea initiative.
The conference in Skopje, which began yesterday, gathered 48 representatives from 23 countries, including ten culture ministers.
The conference is held under the Macedonian presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
